G-B local bodies dissolved

Local Bodies of Gilgit Baltistan have been dissolved and the election Commission would soon announce schedule for new elections.

The local bodies have been dissolved on the completion of their tenure and Chief Secretary has also signed the summary in this regard.

Sources told that the Election Commission has started its homework on issuing the schedule for the next local bodies election. However the elections would be held after winter, as it is impossible to hold elections in such chilling weather.

In this regard chairman Labour Bureau PPP Ch Manzoor talking to Online confirmed the dissolution of LB and that the summary in this regard has been inked.

However the new schedule of the new elections is subject to weather conditions.
