Prime Minister Syed Yusuf Raza Gilani has announced a remission of three months in the sentences of the prisoners who were not involved in heinous crimes in his visit to Adiala Jail during Eid ul Azha.

The Italian Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi has been punched in the face at a rally in Milan. The premier was left to hospital with blood oozing from his lips and nose, according to eye witnessed.

The biggest bank robbery of the country’s history of Rs520 million has been carried out in the metropolitan city of Karachi.
The looted money comprises local and foreign currencies. A bag containing 40,000 British pounds has been recovered from a police official’s house. The family members of the police official had left the bag home which contained foreign currency.

Reliable sources further told that regarding the fresh likely reshuffle in Federal Cabinet that first phase of reshuffle in Federal Cabinet will be held in the current month while the second phase of reshuffle in Federal Cabinet will take place in first week of February.
In the first phase ten Federal ministers will be removed or their portfolio will be replaced. Among these ten ministers the portfolio of Federal Minister for Livestock and Dairy Development, Humayun Aziz Kurd, Minister for State and Frontier Region, Najam ud Din Khan, Minister for Labour and Manpower, Syed Khursheed Shah, Atta ur Rehman and Raja Pervez Ashraf will be changed while Lal Muhammad Khan of Special Initiative, Shahid Hussain Bhutto of Youth Affairs, Noor-ul-Haq Qadri of Zakat and Ushr, Rana Farooq and Mumtaz Hussain Gilani will be removed from their office.
Among the state ministers, Arbab Muhammad Zahir, State minister for Defence, Rafique Ahmed Jamali of Food and Agriculture, Muhammad Tariq Anis of Housing and Works, Abdul Raziq of Kashmir Affairs and Northern Areas, Masood Abbas of Local Government and Rural Development, Shagufta Jamani, Ghulam Fareed Kathia, Sardar Saleem Haider and Imtiaz Safdar Warriach will also be sacked.
Two Ulema groups of different schools of thoughts exchanged hot words amid meeting of “Ittihad-e-Banul-Muslimeen” which was held here at Chief Minister Secretariat to review law and order situation ahead of Muharram-ul-Harram.

Belgium, New Zealand, Argentina, Pakistan, Canada, China, India and South Africa were participated in the event whose winner will qualify for the next year’s Champions Trophy.
The whole Pakistani team was looking as united as it was expecting to be and defeating Indian team in this match looked very easy for them.
Rehan Butt scored 3, Sohail Abbas 2 and Haseem Khan added one goal to Pakistan score as Pakistan managed to take lead in the 3rd minute of the first half – thanks to Rehan Butt, but it was equalized soon in the 8th minute when Indian team took the advantage of penalty corner.
Rehan Butt and Sohail Abbas again brought Pakistan on the driving seat with back-to-back goals in 29th and 32nd minute of the match taking lead to 3-1 at the close of first half.
The beginning of the second half was too lucky for Pakistan as the team succeeded to make two more goals and took the lead to 5-1, but late India got momentum, scoring two more goals and reducing Pakistan lead to 5-3.
At the dying moments of the match, it was the penalty corner specialist – Sohail Abbas, who added one more goal on the penalty stroke, which remained decisive until the match was finished.
The final event of the tournament will be played between Pakistan and New Zealand hockey teams.
The team officials while talking to media said that no one could now stop them to winning.
