“I will not appear before CJP in any case”: Aitzaz Ahsan
Former President Supreme Court Bar Association (SCBA) Barrister Chaudhry Aitizaz Ahsan on Tuesday made it clear that he will not appear before Chief Justice of Pakistan in any case.
While talking to host of Journalists in Supreme Court of Pakistan on Tuesday, Former President Supreme Court Bar Association (SCBA) Barrister Chaudhry Aitizaz Ahsan said that he has been informed that CJP has summoned him in Harris Steel Mills case underlining he will not appear before Chief Justice of Pakistan in any case.
Regarding party membership, he said that Jahanghir Badar suspended his party’s membership from Central Executive Committee (CEC) urging he has no authority/powers to do so.
He stressed that he has no right to do so as he is not even the member of CEC.
Regarding his meeting with President Zardari, he said that he held a meeting with President, few days back in which host of issues came under discussion.
He further added that he belongs to PPP and will remain adding he will continue to serve and provide services to the party when needed.
