The Indian government gave on Saturday security clearance to former BJP leader Jaswant Singh allowing him to visit Pakistan.
According to the new schedule, he would reach Karachi on September 26, while he would address his book launching ceremony on September 27.
According to reports, the Indian government has granted security clearance to Jaswant Singh, former foreign minister to visit and address launching ceremony of his book ‘Jinnah, India Partition and Freedom’ at Islamabad Press Club on September 27.
He is visiting Pakistan on the invitation of prominent publisher and owner of Mr. Books Muhammad Yousuf.
In exclusive chat with Online, Yousuf said the Indian government granted security clearance to Jaswant Singh after several attempts and now he would reach Pakistan on September 26th.
He said on September 27th, he would reach Islamabad and would address launching ceremony of his book the same evening.
It may be mentioned here that Jaswant Singh has made revelation in his book that the partition of India and creation of Pakistan was the result of failed politics of Hindu leaders but not due to Quaid-e-Azam after which the Gujrat provincial government banned the book.
Later, the High Court lifted the ban and said that book could not be banned under human rights.
