Nawaz to visit Saudi Arabia on Sept 11
Quaid Pakistan Muslim League (PML-N) and Former Premier Mian Mohammad Nawaz Sharif would leave for Saudi Arabia on September 11 in the backdrop of recent meeting between Former President Gen. (Retd) Pervez Musharraf and Saudi King Shah Abdullah.
According to media report, the Former Premier during stay in Saudi Arabia would hold talks with Saudi King Shah Abdullah and Saudi Intelligence Chief Shahzada Muqran. Sources said, Former President Gen. (Retd) Pervez Musharraf has pined high hope on Saudi Arabia instead of US and UK to stop action against him in Pakistan.
He is also expecting Former Premier Mian Mohammad Nawaz Sharif would listen to Saudi King Shah Abdullah. The Policy of Pakistan Muslim League (PML-N) with regard to trial of Former President Gen. (Retd) Pervez Musharraf is likely to change after Mian Nawaz’s visit to Saudi Arabia.
It may be recalled here Saudi envoy to Pakistan Abdul Aziz Ibrahim Al Ghadeer in a recent interview said his country will intervene to reconcile Pakistani politicians only if asked to play such a role.
