Former Intelligence Bureau (IB) chief Brig (Retd) Imtiaz Ahmad is expected to make his biography comprising his memorandums and having stories of prominent politicians, military, journalists and bureaucrats public very soon.

Talking with a News Agency the book author Rauf Klasra said the revelations made by Rauf Klasra identifies the presence of ice stone.

Imtiaz Ahmad being a controversial man served in Inter Services Intelligence (ISI) for three decades and after retirement from it served for three years (1990-93) as Director General of Intelligence Bureau (IB), sensitive institution responsible for the interior security of the country.

Brig (Retd) Imtiaz, who played horrible role of Tom Cat ‘Aka Bala’ during Zia regime in Sindh started Operation Midnight Jackal to topple the Benazir Bhutto government in 1988, while he also faced severe criticism after retirement as IB chief.

Rauf said if writing a book was party of any conspiracy then he would be responsible, however, efforts would be made to convey real facts to the coming generation and we should appreciate the Brig Imtiaz instead of terming his revelations as conspiracy so that the coming generation could support truth.

According to him, the book has such stories of former COAS Aslam Beg, ISI chief Asad Durrani and Hamid Gul, which had been involved anti-government and democracy and now playing frontline role being member of civil society, human rights champion and in movements for the restoration of the Constitution and judiciary.

He said PML-N is the one, which criticized Brig Imtiaz much, but if Imtiaz was too unacceptable man then why he was appointed DG IB in the first government of Nawaz Sharif.

He said the book has also stories of MNA Mehtab Abbasi, late Sadiq Kanju and Awami League chief Sheikh Rashid.
