Federal Council membership of Ch. Aslam suspended
Secretary General Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Senator Jahangir Badar has suspended the membership of Former Protocol officer of late former Premier Benazir Bhutto from Federal Council in the wake of his application to Rawalpindi Police to nominate Federal Parliamentary Affairs Minister Dr. Babar Awan, Federal Interior Minister Rehman Malik and other ministers in BB’s murder case.
Benazir Bhutto’s Former Protocol Officer Aslam Chaudhary had submitted a application in Police station Rawalpindi to nominate federal ministers including Dr. Babar Awan and Rehman Malik in BB’s murder case because her security squad was changed on their directives.
On the other hand, Divisional Bench of Lahore High Court will take up a case of Aslam Chaudhary with regard to handing over of Benazir Bhutto’s murder to FIA from Police.
Aslam Chaudhary told Online he has submitted a application in Lahore High Court asking to hand over case of Benazir’s murder to Police by taking back it from FIA. In accordance with law, he said, FIA have no right to interfere in Police investigation.
Commenting on suspension of his Federal Council membership, he said, Secretary PPP Jahangir Badar took this step in wake of his application to Police requesting them to nominate some federal ministers in BB’s murder case.
