Police force has been called to control the situation following the reports of tension and clash between ASF personnel and Civil Aviation employees Saturday at Benazir International Airport.
The police resorted to baton charging after their failure in settling the matter. Security force personnel had tightened security at air port due to red alert and they were allowing the entry into air port after checking the particulars and cards of the persons. In the meanwhile one Arshid reached entry gate of the air port.
The process of checking of his card led to exchange of hot words. Police jawans also arrived there and the tension grew further. In the mean time chief justice of Pakistan Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry also arrived there to proceed to Lahore through flight PK-385. The employees of civil aviation in large number tried to stop his vehicle. However the commandos of Elite force pushed them back from the vehicle.
