President. PM discuss political situation, Balochistan package

PM, Yousaf Raza Gilani has met President Zardari in Tuesday night at the Aiwan-e-Sadr, to discuss such important issues like overall political situation, and Balochistan Package.

Sources at Aiwan-e-Sadr have informed that President congratulated PM and the entire cabinet on presenting the Balochistan Package to the Parliament, expressing his dire belief that this would greatly ameliorate the sense of deprivation among Baloch masses.

The President expressed his strong resolve to carry on with such more issues in the better interests of the Country, saying that the government had also initiated immediate implementation of various steps of the Package.

Other issues of National/political level were also deliberated, during which both agreed to continue the practice of taking all the political parties into confidence in all National issues.

Satisfaction was expressed over the Waziristan operation, while the issue of a possible reshuffling in Cabinet was also discussed.

President Asif Ali Zardari also hosted a dinner reception in honor of PPPP Parliamentarians, among which, chairman Senate, Farooq. H. Naik, Speaker NA, Fehmida Mirza, Federal ministers and high-ranking officials were included.

Both President and PM enjoyed the company of Cabinet in a good and cordial environment, and also disbursed views on strengthening the party.

The Parliamentarians were directed to start an effective campaign to counter the endeavors to malign the party and its leadership, and also advised all to take party workers along.
