Ulema Mushaikh Convention would be held on Dec 17 in all the four provinces for halting mounting incidents of terrorism in the country
The decision to this effect was taken at a important meeting under Federal Interior Minister Rehman Malik on Monday decided to summon Ulema Mushaikh Convention in all the four provinces for halting mounting incidents of terrorism in the country.
This was decided in a high level meeting in the Chief Minister’s House in which Federal interior Minister Rehman Malik presided over the important meeting.
The meeting included Qaim Ali Shah, Dr Zulfikhar Mirza, IG Sindh Sultan Salahuddin Babar Khattak, CCPO Karachi Waseem Ahmed, DG Rangers besides other high security officials and Ulema Furqaan Hideri, Alama Aziz ur Rehman, Syed Shabbir, Maulana Muhammad Nasir, Maulana Muhammad Akram, Maulana Muhammad Altaf, Kokub Norani, Qadir, Nasir and others.
The meeting urged Ulemas to issue Decree (Fatwa) against mounting incidents of terrorism adding government is taking gigantic efforts to curtail such heinous incidents.
The meeting also reviewed security arrangements for Muhurram ul Haram adding all out efforts will be made to curtail attacks.
The meeting called for summoning Ulema Mushaikh Convention in all the four provinces for halting escalating incidents of terrorism in the country.
It was decided to call the Convention in Lahore on December 17. After that the Convention will be held in Quetta, Peshawar, Karachi besides other four provinces.
