Schoolteacher being harassed by relatives over marriage of choice
A Baloch female schoolteacher, residing in Islamabad, who married on her personal choice (love marriage) was facing harassment by her much connected relatives.
Talking to media about her harrowing ordeal and sad plight, Kalsoom Baloch said that she married Fazal Abbas of Khokhar clan of Sargodha against her tribal customs.
In retaliation of this daring endeavor, the brother of Kalsoom reportedly filed a FIR, charging Fazal Abbas of kidnapping and dacoity, with the help of PML-N MPA, Iftikhar Baloch of Jhang.
The rather hapless groom Fazal Abbas and his mother are said to be in Adiyala Jail facing torture and inhuman treatment at the hand of jailors, while the brother-in-law of Fazal Abbas, Shafiq Dogar was imprisoned by Thana Airport police on 28 March, while a regular FIR was launched on 29th March and was undergoing brutal treatment by his captor, sub inspector Basheer, who was denying any access to him.
Two sisters of Fazal Abbas, the renowned champions of badminton Nadia and 12-year old Nazia were confined in jail for 10 days in jail after which they were released on bail, while the third, 13 year old Shazia has been kidnapped and her whereabouts are not known till now.
The mother of brother-in-law of Fazal Abbas, Shafiq Dogar, informed that she raised the issue in open kutchery of CM, Mian Shabaz Sharif, who ordered RPO Rawalpindi to look into the matter and take action, but the RPO Rawalpindi and his Jhang DPO counterpart “offered their regrets” in face of heavy political interference.
DPO Jhang Suleman Chaudhry informed that there was only one case against Shafiq Dogar in entire Jhang district, in which he had been declared not guilty, and had been freed. “I have no idea, why has he been arrested by Rawalpindi police ” he quizzed.
He said that he was investigating the allegations of police torture and brutalities, while the Provincial minister for law Rana Sanaullah has assured that if the marriage proved to be mutually consented, he would see that all allegations on the relatives of the groom would be exonerated, and they would be freed. He also ruled out any involvement of his party’s MPA, Iftikhar Baloch, saying that the FIR was leveled by Kalsoom’s parents; promising that PML-N would look into the matter.
The harassed schoolteacher Kalsoom has appealed to the government and CJ to order immediate release of her innocent in-laws.
Meanwhile MPA, Iftikhar Baloch has denied any relationship with brother of Kalsoom, and said that he only helped all who came to his constituency to seek his help.

I think is that in our country many people either males or females are torcherd, beated by police like as kalsoom and her fmaily.
there is no sence of responsibility, justice and honesty in our country. no support for humanity. Just two things are very important in our country that can solve any problem
