Inquiry ordered against Director Current Affair PTV for sexual harassment
Managing Director Pakistan Television Corporation Arshad Khan on Thursday has ordered an inquiry against Directorate Current Affairs PTV Agha Masood Sorash over sexually harassing three female anchor persons/ compares.
According to PTV Sources, the investigation committee has recorded the statement of all the three women in which they have in written demanded MD PTV Arshad Khan not to spare Agha Masood Sorash as he was trying to take undue advantage of them.
They wrote in their complaint that Agha Masood Sorash wanted to develop illicit relations with them and when they refused he threatened them.
It is pertinent to mention that during former Minister for Information Sherry Rehman tenure, such an application was filed but no headway was made.
Sources say that the said culprit is working in PTV since last five years on contract basis and is involved such heinous activities.
The women who had given the request are Zonara Azhar Lahore, Sadia Afzal and Samina Waqar.
The harassed women told Online that they want justice otherwise they will knock the doors of the Court.
They were of the view that Agha Masood behavior has been intolerable with female staff as who so ever refuses to accept his demands, he throws them out of the program.

Today I was shocked and astonished when I came to know from “Daily Jinnah” that third class anchors of PTV like sadia afzal and samina waqar are now a days trying to hijack their department and institution. These ladies have showed their dirty blood and inner intentions in a ridiculous way. It is a matter of think upon that an FA pass girl (sadia) who joined an institution on daily wages of just Rs.200, how she achieved to a status who takes Rs.200000 a month. Lets think that a girl who is not loyal to her family, her husband and her patron how come she be loyal to her institute and department. This news is in air that Agha Masood helped her to become an anchor but she tried to sting her patron and has forgotten the fact that it was all due to guidance and help of agha masood.
